Growing up, Kori never contemplated any other career path. Visits with her mother to designer show houses and historic homes, such as Falling Water, sparked an early interest in design. Today, Kori still draws on know-how she acquired from her father, watching him create in his woodworking shop and seeing how pieces fit together to form a whole. She can walk into a room and immediately envision what it could become.
After earning a BS in Interior Design, Kori started out planning kitchens before transitioning to full-service residential design.
In 2009, she launched Keyser Interiors, a boutique residential firm serving the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.
Recent projects run the gamut – from the interior refresh of a couple’s primary residence in McLean, Virginia, to the complete renovation and redesign of a getaway cabin in Colorado. Kori is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and is certified by the Council for Interior Design Qualification, having passed its rigorous NCIDQ exam. She has participated in local show houses, including the 2019 Frederick [Maryland] Designers Show House. Her work is featured in the 2020/2021 Home & Design Portfolio: 100 Top Designers.
